Black Sombrero Nachos


• 1 Bag of nacho chips,  approx.  908 gr
• 1lb Black Sombrero Chorizo
• 2 cups shredded cheese, your choice: marble, mozzarella, Monterey jack, Oaxaca

Optional toppings:

• 1-2 tomatoes diced
• 1 can drained and rinsed Black beans
• 1 onion diced
• 1 diced green or red pepper
• ½ c chopped cilantro
• Salsa, guacamole, sour cream


Line cookie sheet with parchment paper (makes cleanup much easier)

Spread the bag of nacho chips evenly over the parchment paper

Cook the black sombrero chorizo in a fry pan while breaking apart until cooked thoroughly

Spread cheese over the chips to cover evenly

Spread the desired amount of chorizo over the chips and cheese

Add the rest of the toppings of your choice, except the cilantro, sour cream, salsa and guacamole

Place on the middle rack of the oven at 375f until browned and cheese is melted, approximately 10 mins

Remove from the oven and sprinkle on the fresh cilantro.

Serve with salsa, sour cream, and guacamole
